Benje has been with Abilene Professional Center since 2011. He brings experience from an eclectic life and past employment as a teacher, career counselor, and behaviorist. He offers clients an energetic perspective of therapy in the traditional sense. Using an eclectic approach, he is able to meet people where they are emotionally, physically, and cognitively, and then, unveiling each client's unique strengths, turn obstacles into growth, and set about tapping into the client's infinite potential. He meets with individuals and couples. He works in partnership with each client, carefully listening to their concerns and collaborating on solutions on such typical issues as depression, anxiety, relationship distress, couple and marital issues, work stress, life transition issues, and addiction. He uses a variety of therapeutic models, including CBT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness, dedicated toward solutions and the restoration of hopefulness. Treatment may be short-term or long-term depending on the nature of the concern. He is also a Board-Approved Supervisor.
